In a jury trial Monday in Henry County Common Pleas Court, a jury found 27 year old Carmel Castillo of Defiance ‘guilty’ of Violating a Protection Order of the court. Castillo was facing two felony charges of Violating a Protection Order; and was found not-guilty on the other count. Judge John Collier ordered a pre-sentence investigation; before handing down a sentence in the case.
And 21 year old Cody Riggs of Napoleon admitted to violating terms of his community control from a previous conviction for Robbery. Riggs was ordered to serve 30 days at the regional jail.
