The highway patrol investigated a fatal two-vehicle crash in Fulton County Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of state route 109 and U.S. 20.   At 2:30pm yesterday, 68 year old Raymond Jacobsen of Worth, Illinois was northbound on route 109, and failed to yield to a westbound pickup driven by 39 year old Christopher Kime of Delta.  The Kime vehicle struck the passenger side of the Jacobsen auto, causing fatal injuries.  The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of relatives.  Raymond Jacobsen was transported by Life Flight to St. VincentMedicalCenter in Toledo.  Kime was not injured.

 

The Henry County Sheriff’s office made an arrest at a rural Napoleon residence Wednesday afternoon at 4:15pm.  25 year old Nicholas Badgely of Napoleon was charged with Aggravated Menacing, and Obstructing Official Business.  Badgely was transported to the regional jail.

Deputies checked-out reports of property damage on Lind Street in Deshler around 6:30am yesterday.

A telephone harassment complaint was filed from a location on state route 65 near McClure over the noon-hour Wednesday.

                   At 12:38pm yesterday, a truck struck a utility pole in Texas, with 32 year old Ahmed Siyat of Shelbyville, Tennesee being cited for a marked lane violation.   No injuries were reported.

                   Another telephone harassment incident was reported on road 15B Wednesday afternoon

The Henry County Sheriff’s office investigated a theft along road W in LibertyTownship at 8:40pm last night, where a log splitter was stolen fro the property.

 

Napoleon Police made an arrest in the 1800 block of Scott Street over the noon-hour Wednesday, when 25 year old Benjamin Phillips of Hamler was picked-up on a warrant from court.  Phillips was transported to CCNO.

          Also arrested on a warrant yesterday was 27 year old Amanda Webb of Napoleon.   She was turned over to the Henry County Sheriff’s office.

                   A theft was investigated at 1815 Scott Street around 12:30pm Wednesday. 

A hit-skip accident was reported at 1815 Scott Street around 1pm yesterday, where 30 year old Alyssia Benien of Wauseon was cited for a Stop Sign violation, Leaving the scene of an accident, and for Falsification.

                   Another driver left the scene of an accident in the 700 block of West Main Street just before 4pm Wednesday.

 

Napoleon officers made an arrest at 619 North Perry Street just before midnight last night, when 31 year old Shane Starr of Napoleon was picked-up on 3 bench warrants, including Contempt of Court.  Starr was transported to the regional jail.
