Two persons from Deshler have been bound over to the Henry County Grand Jury on drug charges, following hearings in Napoleon Municipal court. 36 year old Brian Cole of Deshler appeared at a preliminary hearing facing charges of Illegal Assembly of Drugs, and for Child Endangering. At the hearing, Judge Amy Rosebrook found probable cause in both cases, and Cole was bound over to the Grand Jury.
35 year old Pamela Salyer of Deshler waived her preliminary hearings on the same charges, which automatically put the case in the hands of the grand jury. Both Cole and Salyer were ordered to report to the county probation department twice a week.
And bond was set at $100,000 each for 29 year old Samantha Huff, and 28 year old Joshua Dennison both of Bryan. Dennison and Huff were arraigned on felony-2 charges of Illegal Manufacture of Drugs. A vehicle driven by Huff was stopped by a state highway patrol trooper, and a canine alerted to the vehicle. It’s alleged that equipment for a meth lab was found in the trunk of the vehicle. Huff and Dennison are scheduled to return for a preliminary hearing on Thursday.
