The FourCountyCareerCenter is sending 7 students to national competition in health occupations, after contests recently in Columbus. Taking one of the top-three slots in the state were: Savannah Glass of Napoleon in Medical Reading, Balynn Ponce of Archbold in Health Careers, and Veronica Valdez of Holgate in Physical Therapy.
Alison Carpenter of Napoleon will compete at nationals in Orlando, Florida in Health Careers, along with Lydia Mack of Liberty Center. Sierra Rex of Tinora was also a top placer in health career display.
Advisors for the health occupations program at the FourCountyCareerCenter are Donna Badenhop, Robin Hill, Karen Walker, and Mike Nye.
