The Fulton County Commissioners awarded bids for two county facility improvement projects recently.  R-Tech Communications of Ridgeville Corners was approved for the contract to install inter-duct conduit for fiber cable at the plaza building, at a cost of just over $10,000.

And the bid for exterior painting at the Fulton County Courthouse was awarded to a Piqua, Ohio company at a cost of $58,700.

Another construction project is for improvements and security enhancement at the Detwiler building along south Shoop Avenue.  Only one bidder filed for the job, from Lima; with their proposal at over $277,000.  The estimated cost was $200,000 for this project, which is still being reviewed.

The first half interest income from FultonCounty investments was reviewed at just over $80,100.

And a bridge replacement project was awarded to RG Zachrich Construction Company of Defiance, at a cost of about $262,000.  A grant from the Ohio Public Works Commission will pay for about $171,500 of that cost on road 5 in FultonCounty.
