A ground-breaking ceremony took place earlier this week at CampPalmer, to kick-off construction for a new swimming pool at the site.  The first phase is demolition of the old 1957 pool, which is being tackled by Oberlin Farms Demolition and Recycling.  The construction of the new swimming pool will be completed by Patterson Pool Company of Columbus, at a cost of $495,000.   That phase of the work will likely get underway in September.   So far, about $280,000 has been raised for the project at CampPalmer, which serves all the counties of northwest Ohio.   For more details about helping the funding effort for the swimming pool, contact the e-mail   4hcamppalmer@gmail.com
