The buyers at the 2014 livestock auction in HenryCounty paid more than $154,000 to support the youth and their animals Thursday at the show arena. 

            Ruth Wenzinger’s grand champion market hog went for $1,187.

 

        Madelyn Heurman had the champion market goat that brought $2,001.

 

        Kendall Sattler showed the grand champion market sheep, with a total of $1,786.

 

    Kacey Wilkerson had the champion beef market steer for $5,433.

 

       Alexa Diemer showed the grand champion dairy market steer that went for $3,134.

 

    Tyler Wiemken had the champion meat rabbits at a total price of $1,062.

 

      Brock Ranzau showed the grand champion roaster at $324.

 

            And the champion broiler went for $682 with Cody Kaiser.

 

                        Matt Rader’s grand champion turkey sold for $961.

 

          Audrey Wiemken had the champion waterfowl that sold for $622.

 

       The gallon of milk brought $7,250; and the horse item sold for $1,535.
