The numbers have been tallied in the third annual HenryCounty electronics recycling roundup, in a battle of the 4 high schools.   Over 32 tons of electronic recyclables were turned-in on April 5th.   The drive not only kept these electronics from going into the local landfills, it raised money for the local schools.   Napoleon high school collected over 18,000 pounds of electronics, which generated over $1,300, along with the bonus of $500 for being #1 in Henry County.

Holgate collected over 16,400 pounds, with Liberty Center about 75 pounds behind.   And Patrick Henry reported over 14,000 pounds of electronic were collected.

The Campbell Soup Company also donated to the cause, providing a $200 incentive to each of the four schools in HenryCounty.
