When officials in Toledo discovered they could not distribute water to their customers due to algae contamination last week, a number of communities stepped-up through the Ohio Fire Response.    Nick Nye is Henry County Emergency Management Agency coordinator, and says Deshler, Hamler, Napoleon, Liberty Center and Ridgeville Corners sent tankers of water to Toledo.   Florida and Malinta were ready to send their trucks the next day.

Besides the fire tanker response; the local Red Cross also sent volunteers to help with dispersement of water supplies.
