Nearly 400 schools sent students to Reynoldsburg, Ohio for the 65th land and soil judging competition in connection with FFA recently. Northmor High School in Morrow County, and Gallia Academy in Gallia County were first place team winners.
There were individual awards as well, and taking first place in the state for rural land and soil judging was Wauseon senior Connor Johnson. Ag instructors at Wauseon are Katie Black and Chris Thomas.
