An expansion project in Defiance was approved by city council Tuesday night, for CBS Boring, a supplier for the GM Powertrain facility. The project would include the addition of 30 to 40 jobs for a company that does framing for Corvettes.
And Defiance Council approved a grant application, as the city seeks $325,000 to rebuild Karnes Avenue. The total project cost is estimated at $800,000 and would include the addition of sidewalks along Karnes.
