We’re getting down to the wire in the search for a new police chief in the city of Napoleon. The final four candidates went through an extensive assessment before representatives from the Association of Police Chiefs this past Saturday. That involved testing in decisiveness, judgement, planning and organization, and even role-playing and written essays. The four candidates were ranked after that battery of testing, and all will not go through an interview panel in Napoleon that will include the city manager Joel Mazur, human resources director Morgan Druhot (drew-utt), and another Chief of Police from a city in the region. Those interviews will take place Monday afternoon at city hall. The final four candidates for Napoleon Police Chief are: Ed Legg, Dave Mack, Jamie Mendez, and Chad Moll.
