GLEANERS HEAD TO FIRST EVENT IN NW OHIO THIS SAT.

The first gleaner event of the season in Northwest Ohio is this Saturday.   Volunteers that would like to help pick-up left-over produce are invited to join the group near the intersection of Henry County roads 8 and P, south of Napoleon, this Saturday starting at 12:30pm.  Gleaners will be picking left-over carrots, so if you have a small shovel it will help; but its not necessary.  The effort will likely take 2 to 3 hours; but if you can make it for a short time that’s great too.   The vegetables collected by volunteer gleaners will help stock local food pantries.    You’re encouraged to bring a friend along, and look for the red pickup near the intersection of Henry County roads 8 and P this Saturday at 12:30pm.
