NAPOLEON GOLF COURSE TO OFFER CORPORATE RATE

If companies are looking for ways to provide recreational activities for their employees, the Napoleon Golf Course has the answer.  At their meeting Wednesday night, the Napoleon Parks and Recreation board approved a new corporate membership program, which would allow a company staff to play golf.  The fee for companies with 25 employees of fewer would be $1,000 for the year.   For a business with over 100 employees, the cost would be $4,500 to $6,500.  But cart rental is not included in the membership.

The Napoleon Parks and Rec board also approved increases in the rental for Oberhaus and Ritter Park shelterhouses.   The Oberhaus shelter rate increased by 20-dollars, and Ritter park shelter by 5-dollars.

The capital improvement request for parks and recreation facilities is $68,000 for next year.  That request now goes to the full Napoleon City Council for approval.  $25,000 is proposed for playground equipment replacement in Glenwood Park, and $35,000 is requested in swimming pool repairs.                      And youth basketball programs will be getting underway in Napoleon in the next month or so.
