A Findlay man is in custody following his arrest by the highway patrol in Bowling Green last night. 31 year old John Magallanus of Findlay was wanted on a warrant in Henry County, and was turned over to law officers at the sheriff’s office in Napoleon. Magallanus was transported to the regional jail, awaiting a court appearance.
And a routine traffic stop for speeding earlier this week in Henry County turned out to be much more than that. Deputy Walker checked out the registration for the driver, and found the license was suspended. Further investigation revealed there was a warrant out in Colorado for this driver. That warrant was for murder. 37 year old Karsten Persson of Montrose, Colorado was transported to CCNO, awaiting extradition on the murder charge and warrant. The traffic stop occurred on route 109 just north of Hamler on Monday at 12:26pm.
