RARE NOVEMBER THUNDERSTORM CAUSES DAMAGE

A rare November thunderstorm rumbled through northwest Ohio and caused damage in several locations, including Wauseon.   At least 20 to 30 trees were uprooted by the high winds, some falling on homes and garages.  Power outages were reported around the community, with electric lines torn down.   A 4 year old Wauseon girl was injured when she came in contact with a downed power line on Oak Street.  She was transported to the Fulton County Health Center Sunday night.   First Energy crews are in town trying to get the wires back up; but most power has been restored.

There was also damage reported in Archbold, with trees down.
