NAPOLEON COUNCIL TALKS ELECTRIC ISSUES

It looks like the proposal to provide rebates for electric car owners in Napoleon, and to install electric-car charging stations will wait.   The Napoleon BPA and council electric committee discussed the issue Monday night; but are expecting more technology to be available soon, and they want to move after the latest technology is established.

The board discussed a power outage in the industrial park Monday, caused by a vehicle that struck and damaged a power pole.  Some customers were out for about a half hour.

And Napoleon Council may be working with American Municipal Power to pay the cost of a transmission operator for the north side electric substation
