The village of Deshler has approved a contract to provide police protection to the town of Malinta for the first half of 2018. This agreement still needs to be ratified by Malinta council. It would provide for patrol 4 hours per week, at a cost of $25 per hour. Deshler Council approved a contract with the village solicitor at a 2% increase for next year.
And the ordinance providing for 2% increases for village employees was approved by Deshler Council. The next meeting is moved to December 26th.
