WEEKEND TRAFFIC NEWS

The Henry County Sheriff’s office was called to the scene of an injury crash Friday morning around 6:45am, on U.S. 6 east of Napoleon at road P-3.  18 year old Isabel Rhoda of Malinta was driving and struck a vehicle waiting on traffic.  Rhoda was injured and transported to the Henry County Hospital by McClure Rescue. 

Friday evening, Henry County deputies arrested 29 year old Christopher Slone of Archbold on a warrant out of Defiance County.

                   Another injury crash occurred Friday evening on road 14B in Freedom Township, where 47 year old Jeffrey Diehl of Napoleon crashed into the ditch.  Napoleon Rescue was sent to the scene due to injuries.

At 2:08 this morning, the Henry County Sheriff’s office made an arrest on Wood Drive in Napoleon, where 37 year old Curtis Otto of Napoleon was picked-up on a warrant for failing to appear in court.

And four fire departments were dispatched Sunday night to a blaze that ignited in a barn along route 109 in Putnam County.  Leipsic was first to respond, but mutual aid was provided by Deshler, Miller City and Ottawa fire departments.  Several tractors, and some other farm machinery was also lost in the blaze.
