DEFIANCE SCHOOLS GO WITH DIFFERENT ARCHIT, AUCTION

It looks like the Defiance City School Board is going a different direction in architectural services, as they debate how to proceed with their older facilities downtown.  Superintendent Mike Struble reports they have retained Craig Beilharz for the disposition of facilities at the Arabella Street campus downtown.

There was also good news in the recent auction of items from the Defiance high school building on Palmer Drive.  The district raised a net figure of about $71,000 including the sale of kitchen equipment, furniture, the gym floor, and bleachers.
