SEIZURE OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA LEADS TO INDICTMENTS

An investigation in Defiance County has led to the seizure of a significant amount of medical marijuana; and two subjects were indicted by the county grand jury.  Prosecutor Morris Murray reports the medical marijuana came from a dispensary in Michigan, and was located at a residence in Defiance County, intended for street sale in Ohio.

The grand jury indicted 56 year old Joseph Ludeker of rural Bryan, and 27 year old Joshua Ledeker of Bryan-both charged with Trafficking in Marijuana.  The investigation led to the seizure of over 1000 grams of medical marijuana packaged for sale; along with about $100,000 in cash.
