AMERICANS WAITING FOR ORGAN DONATION

There are more than 114,000 Americans waiting in line; and its not to ride the latest roller coaster.   That’s how many people are waiting for an organ donation around the country, ranging from a new heart, to lungs.   The list in Ohio is at nearly 2,900.                 The biggest waiting list is for a new kidney, including 2,111 in the Buckeye State who need that organ donation to think about their future.             Nearly 4,000 Americans are waiting for a new heart, and the liver transplant list is closing-in on 14,000.    20 people die each day in the U.S. waiting on a new organ.
