LIBERTY CENTER COUNCIL REVIEWS RAILS TO TRAILS

After evaluating the income surveys turned-in, Liberty Center council was informed, there were not enough low-income residents to qualify for a grant they were seeking.   The village number was 43% in the low to moderate income category, with 51% the necessary figure to reach for grant money.

                             The Rails to Trails bike and pedestrian path project is underway, and they are planning a grand opening on June 23rd at the railroad depot in Liberty Center.

          The street patching project is complete in town, and next-up is the spring cleanup set for next Thursday through Saturday, April 26th through 28th.   The dropoff at the Creager property will run from 7am till 7pm.
