DEFIANCE COUNTY GRAND JURY INDICTMENTS

Defiance County Prosecuting Attorney, Morris Murray, has released the following information regarding recent indictments returned by a Defiance County Grand Jury on April 24, 2018

 

Seth E. Wyse, age 36, 510 Euclid Avenue, Apt. 7, Napoleon, was indicted for two counts of Non-Support of Dependents, each a Felony of the Fifth Degree.  Authorities allege that Wyse failed to provide adequate support as required by Court Order, for his children under the age of eighteen, during the period of April 2014 through March 2016 and April 2016 through March 2018.

 

Troy G. Busano, age 25, Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, was indicted for two counts of Domestic Violence, each a Felony of the Fourth Degree; two counts of Endangering Children, each a Misdemeanor of the First Degree; and one count of Violating a Protection Order, a Misdemeanor of the First Degree.  Authorities allege on March 31, 2018 and again on April 9, 2018, at a residence in the Village of Hicksville, Busano caused physical harm to a female household member in the presence of a juvenile.  Busano has a prior conviction for Domestic Violence, making each count a Felony of the Fourth Degree.  Authorities further allege on April 18, 2018, Busano violated his Temporary Protection Order that was issued on April 11, 2018.

 

Joshua A. Evans, age 36, 534 Degler, Apt. 30, was indicted for one count of Domestic Violence, a Felony of the Fourth Degree.  Authorities allege on April 7, 2018, at a business on North Clinton Street, Evans caused physical harm to a male household member.  Evans has a prior conviction for Domestic Violence, making this a Felony of the Fourth Degree.

 

Joshua Yates, age 27, Correction Center of Northwest Ohio, was indicted for one count of Failure to Appear as required by Recognizance, a Felony of the Fourth Degree.  Authorities allege that Yates failed to appear for a Pre-trial Hearing, scheduled on April 13, 2018, after having been released on a personal recognizance bond in connection with a pending felony charge of Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer.

 

Stephen Palladino, age 40, 5584 Glenburg Road, Defiance, was indicted for one count of Arson, a Felony of the Second Degree.  Authorities allege on February 24, 2018, Palladino set fire to an occupied residence located at on State Route 15 in Defiance County, causing serious physical harm to that property.

Robbie Steel, age 43, 1433 Jackson Ave, Defiance, was indicted for one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a Felony of the Fifth Degree.  Authorities allege following the execution of a Search Warrant at Steel’s residence on January 31, 2018, Steel was found in possession of methamphetamine.

Daniel Farmer, age 26, 21192 Whistler Road, Defiance, was indicted for one count of Possession of Cocaine, a Felony of the Fifth Degree.  Authorities allege on April 21, 2017, following the execution of a probation search at a residence in the City of Defiance, Farmer was found in possession of cocaine.

 

Jeramy Fisher, age 40, 1467 Jackson Avenue, Defiance; and,

Erica Shafer, age 24, 24514 Watson Rd, Defiance; were each indicted for three counts of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, each a Felony of the Fifth Degree.  Authorities allege on June 28, 2017, following a traffic stop in the City of Defiance, Fisher and Shafer were found in possession of methamphetamine, lisdexamfetamine, and amphetamine.

 

Latron Tall, age 31, 2267 Auburn, Toledo, was indicted for three counts of Trafficking in Cocaine, each a Felony of the Fifth Degree.  Authorities allege on two separate occasions, Tall sold cocaine to a confidential informant(s) in the City of Defiance.  Authorities further allege, following a traffic stop in the City of Defiance, Tall was found in possession of instruments used to traffic cocaine.

 

 

Arraignments are scheduled for Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
