EMPLOYERS CAN LOOK FOR REBATE CHECKS FROM OHIO BWC

Employers around the Buckeye State can look for a summer surprise coming their way.  The Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation has announced they will be mailing 1.5 billion dollars in rebate checks to about 180,000 companies.   The move is being made due to healthy investment income, falling claims, and prudent fiscal management.   That would make the total of rebates going to employers at 8 billion dollars since 2011.

Employers must pay any overdue premium amounts and outstanding payroll reports before June 8th in order to obtain the rebates.

Some schools will also be included on the rebates being sent-out this summer in early July.
