INPUT SOUGHT FOR NEW MASTER PLAN IN NAPOLEON

The process of updating Napoleon’s master plan in the city is underway, after last being completed in 2008.  The purpose of the update is to ensure the plan reflects the appropriate goals and strategies of the community, and utilizing the best resources available.                   This master plan will cover issues like land-use, economic development, downtown revitalization, parks and recreation, infrastructure, transportation and more.

Beginning Wednesday (tomorrow), residents will be able to participate in an online survey, and offer their input into the master plan.  It’s a brief 17-question survey that can be found on the city website (www.napoleonohio.com), and select community survey.

There will also be public meetings where input will be gathered, coordinated by Reveille Company, a Bowling Green based planning and economic development firm.    Results of the survey will be distributed on the website and at city hall in the future.
