A search is underway in Defiance for a male subject that robbed Keck’s Market on South Jefferson Street Monday afternoon.Defiance Police report the crime occurred at about 2:30pm on Memorial Day, when a male subject entered the store, located the clerk, and demanded money from the cash register.The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.He was seen travelling on foot southbound toward West Rosewood Avenue.The robbery suspect is described as a white male, 5’8 to 5’10 in height, medium build, wearing a black hoodie, black mask covering his nose and mouth, black sunglasses, and he wore pink and white socks as gloves.Anyone with information or who saw something suspicious in the area of South Jefferson Monday afternoon, is asked to contact Defiance Police at 784-5050.
