A fatal accident was investigated in Henry County this (Thur.) morning at the Henry-Fulton County line on state route 66.The Henry County Sheriff’s office investigated the collision just south of Archbold at 10:43am.According to the report, 37 year old Evan Baka of Sterling Heights, Michigan was operating a semi on state route 66 at the county line.Baka apparently stopped the semi in the northbound lane, and exited the cab.Evan Baka then stepped into the southbound lane of route 66, and was struck by a southbound pickup driven by 55 year old Roger Knape of Archbold.The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.There was no indication in the report as to why Baka got out of the semi rig in the highway.
