DEFIANCE COUNTY GRAND JURY INDICTS HARRIS FOR KIDNAPPING, BLADE IN ABDUCT.

A rural Defiance man has been indicted by the Defiance County Grand Jury on felony charges of Kidnapping, Abduction, Felonious Assault, along with three counts of Endangering Children. 27 year old Charles Harris, III of rural Defiance was indicted for those offenses, stemming from an alleged incident on Mekus Road from December 7th.

Also indicted was 51 year old Kevin Chencinski of Defiance for Gross Sexual Imposition, in a crime that allegedly involved a victim under the age of 13.

28 year old Derek Guerra of rural Napoleon was indicted for Attempted Felonious Assault.

49 year old Douglas Blade of Hicksville was indicted for Abduction, Domestic Violence, and Violating a Protection Order.

20 year old Demetrius Thomas, Jr. of Eastpointe, Michigan was indicted for Menacing by Stalking, along with Violating a Protection Order.

And two subjects were indicted for Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, along with Possession of Drugs, in a case allegedly involving Methamphetamine. They are 26 year old Tomas Walters of Defiance, and 61 year old Ronald Treesh of Angola, Indiana. Arraignments are scheduled for next Wednesday, January 19th in Defiance County Common Pleas Court.
