MAY 2022 RAINFALL TOPS 4.5 INCHES IN NW OHIO

The month of May is normally one of the wettest months of the year in northwest Ohio.  And it lived up to billing in 2022, with 4.68 inches of precipitation recorded. That’s eight-tenths of an inch above normal for the fifth month of the year. There were 12 days of measurable moisture in May, with the largest amount on May 4th, when nearly 1.3 inches of rain fell.     Looking ahead to June, the average rainfall in northwest Ohio for this month is 3.58 inches.
