FATAL CRASH IN FULTON COUNTY OVER THE WEEKEND

A fatal crash in Fulton County over the weekend has claimed the lives of two adults, with two children also suffering serious injuries. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office reports the accident occurred Friday night at 9pm on U.S. 20, when two vehicles collided head-on. The roll-over collision caused one vehicle to catch-fire, driven by 32 year old Cara Charland of Toledo. Cara Charland and the front-seat passenger, 37 year old Robert Thomas, Jr. of Toledo were both killed in the accident, and pronounced dead at the scene. Two juvenile occupants in the back seat were injured and taken by ground ambulance to Toledo Hospital, where they are listed in critical condition. The other driver, 20 year old Adon Glass of Morenci, Michigan was injured and transported to Toledo Hospital; and is listed in stable condition.  A number of local fire departments responded to the scene, including Wauseon, Delta, and Lyons Royalton Township, along with Fayette Police.
